Glamping Terre & Mer

We enjoyed it enough to book an extra night while we were there. The site is peaceful and well cared for, and the pool and jacuzzi are great. Thanks for a really enjoyable stay.

We stayed for 12 nights at the end of July 2014, and would come back to explore more of the region. We had no problems during our stay. Our large Outwell Norfolk lake tent, 8m x 3m, fit comfortably on the pitch, and we were given a good choice of spots. The campsite even supplied a plastic table and chairs. We hired a fridge, which is essential for us, though most sites offer that. The pool is a good size, and the beach is only a 10-minute walk away. It’s a great location, quiet without feeling remote, with good facilities and friendly staff. There was plenty of food cooked on site for anyone who didn’t want to cook: roast chickens on Sunday, Moules for about €6 on Monday, plus pizzas and fish and chips. The Moules were the best I’ve tasted so far!

In June, we were serenaded by nightingales around the site. Tim and Pirette were helpful and welcoming, and the site itself is pleasant, friendly, and handy for excellent village shops and a restaurant. There are lovely cliff walks in both directions, as well as inland routes for walking and cycling. The walk along the cliffs to St. Quay Portrieux takes about half an hour and has great views. There’s also a very cheap bus to Paimpol, near the site, and it’s worth a day out.

A pleasant, quiet, well-kept camping site, about a 10-minute walk from the beach. There’s a small but very nice swimming pool, a children’s animal petting zoo, and all the facilities you’d expect.
