Had a comfortable stay, and the internet connection was strong. Breakfast was good too. The bed just felt too narrow.

Mrs. Trokay was always smiling and keen to make sure we were well looked after. This family-run hotel in Étréaupont has a warm, genuine feel to it. A big thank you for such a lovely stay.

The outside is very inviting, but I won't be back. After one business night here, I really don't understand all the glowing reviews. The room was in a shameful state, with mold on the walls, dirty carpets, a bathroom just as bad, and a refrigerator I won't even get into. There were several of us on the trip, so we had to eat here even though that hadn't been planned. We didn't get the starter that was supposedly prepared earlier in the day, and the lasagna was more than just frozen, yet cost €15. The drink prices were hard to overlook too. Breakfast was ready before 7:30 pm, and was set up outdoors despite the heat being over 30 degrees Celsius. Once was enough. I'll never set foot in this place again.

The location is pleasant, and we were welcomed very warmly. The hotel is dated, though. My room was really small, the wardrobe was awkward to get into, and the TV was tiny. Breakfast was adequate, but the dining room felt much too small. When I asked for a ground-floor room, I was told the rate would be higher because I have a disability card. I find that very regrettable. Having a disability already puts you at a disadvantage, and then you're penalized again.
