The wedding suite was clean, spacious, and charming, just as we expected, though there were no petals or champagne. We also booked a couple of other rooms, which were convenient but a bit overpriced. Since it was an international wedding, many guests chose to stay closer to Paris. The rooms were clean, though being in the countryside, they weren’t completely sterile. We held our wedding at this traditional farm, with plenty of room for dinner, the venue, and dancing. Nicolas was clear and open with us about every question, and there were no surprises with the prices or services. The location is somewhat remote, about a 15-minute walk from the RER, but that’s expected for a place like this.

The shower was the best in the world, and breakfast was nice. We stopped here on the way home. Our room for six was one room, with the shower and toilet accessed from the corridor outside. The bunk beds squeaked, and it felt a little expensive for dormitory-style sleeping. The hosts were very pleasant, though there was a large dog on site, so be careful if you have children. Parking was secure. The hotel is right by the road, which was convenient without being noisy. Nearby towns felt more commercial than touristy, and we had dinner at a wonderful restaurant in a nearby town, La Galette Breton in Etampes.

The owners were really nice, and we had a very good stay in a wonderful setting. We’d recommend it to anyone looking for a beautiful place near Paris.

The shower was amazing, and breakfast was included. I stayed one night in a room for nine, but honestly, for the price, it wasn’t the best room.
