La Villa Bligny

I stayed two nights in this charming little hotel in Étretat, in a quiet part of town that was great for unwinding after exploring. The room was clean and comfortable, if nothing fancy, and the staff were friendly and helpful. I especially liked waking to the sounds of nature instead of city noise. It was a pleasant, easygoing stay, and a good option for a simple, peaceful visit to Étretat.

The old building looks beautiful from outside, but inside everything smelled strange and felt very old. We stayed one night, and it was the worst hotel room I’ve ever had. It was extremely dirty, as though it hadn’t been cleaned properly for a very long time. There was no reception and no shampoo or other basic hotel supplies. The towels and sheets were very old. After we found hair in the bed, they offered another room, but that one was old and dirty too. I strongly recommend against staying here, even if it were free.

A beautiful chateau in a good location, with a lovely outdoor area and plenty of space. The ground-floor apartment was comfortable and well equipped, and had a baby bed and parking.

The room and interior felt quite worn, and the place wasn't very clean. Fine for the one night I stayed, but I wouldn't suggest it for a longer visit.
