The staff were polite and cooperative, the location is great, and the internet worked well. They got me a taxi to Annecy when I needed one and brought an iron for my clothes. The hotel is on the city’s main street, near restaurants and bakeries, within easy reach of the train station and the lake ferry stop. The Evian water source entrance is at the end of the street. It was quiet, and the price felt acceptable for the limited facilities. There’s no air conditioning, which was a problem in hot weather. The small box in the room isn’t really a refrigerator. Opening the window lets in mosquitoes, and neighbors looking onto the narrow street can see in. The wooden floor creaks loudly underfoot, and the doors creak too and could use lubrication. There’s no laundry service. I arrived late at night and walked past the hotel because there was no illuminated sign identifying it.

A comfortable, convenient and happy stay. The hotel and room were clean, and the staff were friendly. My one small suggestion would be to cover the breakfast in the morning.

The lake view is stunning, and the bed was comfortable. Our room was a good size and the hotel is charming and well located. We didn’t try breakfast, though it looked delicious. I’d stay again.

Right in central Evian, with the Casino nearby. We got a friendly, warm welcome. Parking can be an issue, so book a space before you arrive.
