Logis Hôtel le Littoral

The receptionist who greeted us was pleasant and nice. The person we dealt with the next day was the opposite, visibly angry that we had two tiny dogs, even though we'd checked with the hotel before booking to confirm pets were allowed. He was sure they'd make the carpet stink. I forgot to photograph it, but that carpet looked like a horror scene, with who knows how many stains. A smile from him might have earned a tip, but in three days there wasn't one. The hotel is old, so I understand cleanliness takes more effort, but the smell in the lobby could be dealt with using room perfume. Our room was generally clean, though I found a pile of dust behind the bedside table, where the sockets were hidden. People need a socket by the bed, so that should be addressed. The bathroom corners had black mold, and the white towels weren't white anymore. We also had to pay for street parking every few hours throughout our three-day stay. Without a garage, they should at least arrange something with a parking lot so guests can pay once instead of rushing back every 4-5 hours to feed the meter. As I write this, I've changed my rating from two stars to one.
