The food was amazing, and we’ll definitely return next time we’re in Corsica. It’s a small, family-run inn in a tiny mountain village, so the setting feels wonderfully idyllic. You can tell the family care about what they do. The rooms are basic, but perfectly fine for the price.

The terrace is a lovely place to sit outside in the evening. Service was perfect, and the meals were really nice.

A huge group of around 30 people was sharing one table in the dining room when we arrived. It had a warm feel, and the menu was hearty mountain food, including wild boar Parmentier, Corsican veal and chestnut sponge cake. Looked like a stop for GR20 hikers, and a good place for a filling meal.

We visited on October 18th, and it turned out to be a wonderful surprise. The roads are winding, but arriving was worth it. The meal could have come from a fine restaurant. The couple running this newly renovated place were so kind and generous, and the owner made me feel at ease right away. I really enjoyed chatting with him. I can’t wait to go back. Thank you!

We were hiking and got the chance to stop at the chestnut grove. We had a good rest and a delicious meal. Stéphane, Agata, and their daughter were so hospitable, thank you. A very good experience, and I’d highly recommend it if you’re passing through Evisa.
