10/10
The gardens and pool area were peaceful, and I’d be very happy to return. Eygalières is a wonderful village, an easy walk along a quiet road. The hotel has a lovely atmosphere, and the receptionist at the front desk was perfect at her job. I was very pleased with my room: the bed was comfortable, there was a good choice of coffee and tea, and the bathroom was a decent size with a laundry line. That mattered to us after walking there on the GR 6. We did hear some impact noise from other people’s furniture and curtains. The brasserie food was pretty decent, though perhaps expensive. Breakfast was good, but the omelette bar staff didn’t acknowledge us even after seeing us wait. There was plenty of other nice food, so we managed fine.

The location was great and the rooms were good and very quiet. The issue was the staff’s lack of professionalism: we waited for a late lunch and gave our order, only to be told afterward that we had to get a cheese platter. We declined, and there were no other options.

In charming Eygalières, this beautiful property has a lovely restaurant. We had to change our reservation at the last minute, and the staff were accommodating and understanding. Everyone was lovely, especially Margot at Bistro de Brau. Highly recommend!

My wife and I fell in love with this hotel. The staff and caretakers were wonderful, and we loved every moment at this special, magnificent place. We’re Americans and hope we can come back someday. Highly recommend.
