The town square is just a few minutes' walk away, though the street itself is quiet, and the location was perfect. Graham and Maxine were lovely people, nothing was too much trouble, and they gave us valuable insight into village life, activities, and nearby places to visit as we considered moving to the area. We hope to meet them again. We were warmly welcomed and had an excellent room with everything we could want. The house has a lovely layout and a huge breakfast table. Graham cooked breakfast, and this was the first place where the owners asked what we'd like to eat. The home-cured bacon was amazing, and Graham shared the recipe. The poached eggs were just right, with warm croissants, yogurts, and fruit too. It was all delicious. Staying anywhere else in Eymet would mean missing a rare treat. Jayne and I found a house in beautiful Eymet that we could imagine making our forever home. We wound up staying four nights at Graham and Maxine's wonderful B&B, where they made us feel completely welcome, and got the house purchase sorted. They know so much about Eymet and the surrounding area, which was invaluable. A memorable stay with wonderful people. We can't wait to return.
