The check-in was a mess. There’s no clear process, so you’re left searching the doors for handwritten notes and calling to get the codes. The room felt dated, and breakfast was terrible.

The food was really good, and the desserts were lovely too. It’s a family-run place, and worth stopping by if you’re passing through Eymoutier.

No frills, just classic French food at fantastic prices.

After the steam train ride from limoges, we had a great lunch.

Snow and ice meant we had to leave the car in Eymoutiers, and luckily Hôtel du Haut Limousin could take us in. We had a restful night, and breakfast came with plenty of laughter. Thank you, Madam. Marie
