Camping Le Botanic

We liked the service and the pitches so much that we booked another one for tomorrow evening on our way back home. We first stopped at this campsite five days ago.

The toilets shut at 13h, with no alternative, and the taps don't work properly. There isn't a light in the cabins for shaving. The gate closes before 22h and doesn't always work right. Rats were walking on the bar fence where you pay Michelin 3 star prices, and getting into rubbish bags around the campsite.

The bathrooms are open, so showers could feel chilly when it's cold. There's no toilet paper or hair dryer either, but the ponies, goat and Guinea pigs make up for it. We loved the heated pool and lake, and the tent pitches were very good. The staff were great. Breakfast was okay, and pizza night was wonderful.

The facilities could use some work. Toilets and showers are back to back, and the drainage is a bit odd. Still, the pitches were probably the best we've had with our campervan, with big trees that make it feel like you're in the woods. The receptionist was one of the kindest people we've met and helped with anything. The natural lagoon is beautiful too. A great place to stay.
