The countryside setting makes Château le Tour a great base for exploring the Perigord area, and it still feels like a home away from home. Josefina and François go out of their way to make guests feel welcome. There’s also an amazing pool, with all that open countryside around it. A perfect spot for a weekend.

The trust and relaxed atmosphere at Chateau le Tour stayed with me. We didn’t even need to lock our bedroom doors, and meals in the first few nights brought us together with the owners and staff like one big family. The welcome from everyone was astounding, and the owners and staff were so well organised and efficient throughout the wedding days and the time around them. We had good fun before, during and after the wedding, and the wedding food was delicious, just right for such an important occasion. Breakfast was tasty too, with typical French cold cuts, cheese, fruit, cereal and delicious croissants. I was there for a wedding from July 5 - 11, 2017. The owners were wonderful, the staff friendly, and everyone made us feel at home. I hope I can see you all again. I still cherish those lovely days.

It’s a lovely place to unwind, and it also works perfectly for visiting the region. The hosts are very welcoming, and the other guests are friendly. The atmosphere feels like being in a big family home. Considering the high quality, it’s quite inexpensive.

What gives the place its character is the warmth in every corner and the thoughtful hospitality. My wife and I had an unforgettable stay at Château le Tour last September. The house feels comfortable while still being rustic, and we felt more like guests staying with friends than visitors at a hotel. It was beautiful and peaceful, too. A huge thank you to François and Fina for such a warm welcome and for being so attentive.
