The pool, green spaces that stayed cool at night, lovely terrace, and play area for children all made our two-week family holiday a joy. We’d just come back with our three-year-old and my partner, and we had a wonderful stay. Gonzague is delightful. He’s around when you need him or ask for him, and otherwise leaves you in peace. He clearly puts a lot of effort into the resort. There are a few simple rules for sharing the space, like sorting recycling and taking shoes off at the pool. Just little things. It’s great value and a good base for visiting nearby villages. Shops like Lidl and Intermarché are about 12 minutes away by car. A small bed was provided for our little one, though I brought my own mattress. There were charcoal barbecues, including one very large one, as well as smaller ones. We also got along incredibly well with our bungalow neighbors. Go there, you won’t be disappointed!

In principle this place could be good, but in practice I’d avoid it. I’m writing this two days after leaving, without having warned the owner or received any feedback after checkout, so there can’t be any comments afterward. The park is green and quiet, pretty and well maintained, with a pond, facilities for young children, and a few geese wandering freely. The pool is large, beautiful, and clean, with plenty of umbrellas and loungers. The accommodation is functional, clean, well equipped, and air-conditioned. It’s also centrally located for visiting hilltop villages or Lake Saint Cassien. But the grounds are covered in goose droppings. The bungalow exteriors are neglected and cluttered, with trestles left outside the entrance, terraces used for storage, and facades that need renovating. The Wi-Fi is weak, and the umbrellas don’t work. The main problem for me was the manager being extremely intrusive. It began with a remark because I’d left the air conditioning on while out. Then they rummaged through my trash to check the sorting, even though the bins would need emptying for that to work. Later, they made another really unkind remark in an unfriendly tone when I entered the pool area holding my flip-flops, telling me to take them outside immediately. Being vigilant is fine, but there’s a point where it becomes insistent and irritating. I won’t come back for that reason alone.

We loved the swimming pool, and the cottages make a lovely spot for enjoying nature. They're on the small side, but have everything you need, including air conditioning in every cottage, which was especially pleasant.
