Good value for money, with clean, spacious rooms and a central location. There's a shared space with kitchen facilities, so it feels more like a hostel or guesthouse. Getting in means taking a narrow spiral staircase and then walking down a long corridor. Parking nearby is handy, and communication by text is good.

The street-facing room was really noisy, and we'd booked one with a garden view, so that was disappointing. The room itself was okay, though the shelves were starting to droop and the TV was tiny and mounted way up high. The bathroom was in bad shape, with a broken shower button and marks on the mirror and walls. Also, the common room closet key, which is meant to be for our room, opens every other cupboard too.

The room was clean and pleasant, and worked well for a short stay. The entrance isn't much to look at, but the room itself was perfectly adequate. It's in a great location and good value for the money. Thanks, I'd recommend it at this price.

The mattress was comfortable, the street-facing windows kept the noise out, and the Wi-Fi was good. Still, this place wasn't for us. I'm over 50, and maybe people under 30 would enjoy the style more. It felt somewhere between a student dorm and a prison, starting with a very strict first email, though perhaps that's part of the G concept. Everything was gray, from the doors and walls to the towels and bedding, and the homemade furniture felt unstable: the bed wobbled and the shelf was crooked. There was just one chair for two people, one bedside lamp, and no appealing touches in the bare room. The stairs were more like a ladder. The shared kitchen smelled strongly of harsh cleaner, and with the windows shut we couldn't stay there, so we only looked in the kitchenware cupboard and didn't use it. There was light only on the ground floor, with a motion sensor. The upper hallways were pitch dark when we arrived, and we had to feel our way to a switch. The taps and shower had push buttons that shut off automatically. The shower had a fixed head with no hose. We had to press the button three times before hot water came, then it was too hot, but we couldn't adjust it because the water kept stopping. We didn't use the shower.
