We’ve stayed here twice for weddings, and on our latest visit we had both apartments. There’s loads of charm, and the space is comfortable and very well equipped. Mr and Mrs Kientz and Sophie were incredibly quick to help whenever we needed anything. Breakfast was delicious too. Ferrette is a lovely little Alsace village, close to both the Swiss and German borders.

The location made it easy to walk up to the nearby castle, and the hike was lovely. We also had a great evening at Fromagerie Anthony. One night we cooked in the apartment ourselves, which was easy thanks to the fully equipped kitchen. We were six friends and had plenty of room. The place is beautifully put together, with so much care in the details, and we felt at home right away. Eric was such a warm host. He made fresh eggs for us each morning, and the plum jam was a real treat. Breakfast and service were both wonderful. We’d happily come back and recommend it.

We went with our three children and had a really relaxing time in this lovely holiday apartment. There are great walks and places to visit nearby. Sophie also deserves a thank you for the delicious breakfast she prepared with such care.

Our friends’ group loved the gîte, but what stood out most was how generous, kind and welcoming our hosts were. The peaceful surroundings made it just right for a relaxing stay with friends or family. I’d recommend it without hesitation, it deserves well over five stars. F.R.
