The staff were very professional, and this was one of the friendliest places we've ever stayed.

Our bikes were stored safely, which we appreciated. The rooms are lovely and well equipped, and breakfast is generous. We also had a very friendly welcome at this relaxing place.

The meal in the kota was Obelix-themed, and we went in December 2023. The owners welcomed us warmly and explained the place, which immediately made it feel special. Everything there seems carefully thought through, from the decor to the furnishings. The cabin at the back of the garden is worth seeing too. The kota was spotless and had everything we needed, and we stayed warm the whole time. Our hosts showed us in, served a welcome drink, and explained how to handle the meal ourselves before leaving us to enjoy it. We ended up spending 5.5 hours there. Good company makes the time fly! There was a bottle of wine, two pitchers of water, and a charcuterie board for six. Each person had a sausage, a merguez, a chicken skewer, and a beef skewer. The butcher's meat was very good, with roasted potato and salad. After that came three generous cheeses, including half a Maroilles, then a delicious homemade apple tart. We could make instant coffee or tea with the cast-iron teapot heated over the embers. All the seasonings, sauces, and condiments were there. We'll definitely come back and share the experience with other friends.

That was such a peaceful break, and we really appreciated having dinner and breakfast in our room. The setting is magnificent. We stayed in the "Millstone Room", with its big round bed and tastefully decorated private bathroom full of clever little touches. The hosts were welcoming and attentive. A lovely evening and night, everything felt perfect. Thank you.
