L'Abribis

The hotel is a little way from the city center, so getting there without a car is difficult. The staff connected us with a local taxi service, Taxi Valerie, which helped a lot. Everyone at the hotel was kind and very helpful, the rooms were clean, and the garden outside was a comfortable place to sit.

The evening meal was a little miracle: homemade pate, pickled mushrooms and vegetables, then snails, followed by beef from a local farm. I had a different hotel booked for the next day because this one was full, but when another customer canceled, I was glad to return and have the same lovely evening again. The reception and restaurant staff were great. I was pleasantly surprised by the hotel's location and price. Thank you very much, I can't wait to come back.

For what you pay, this is a really good hotel. It's clean, the rooms look nice, and the bed is fantastic. Free WiFi is a nice extra, though the connection wasn't great. Maybe access points would improve it. I didn't see an elevator, though I might have missed one. I'd also suggest putting two blankets on the bed instead of one, since sharing one can annoy some people. Robbert Ploum RB Productions

A quiet spot with friendly people, a clean room, and WiFi that worked well. The room had a fridge that was bigger than usual, plus a microwave and a TV mounted on the wall. The restaurant was closed because the staff were on holiday. Breakfast was fine, with lots of sweet cakes and croissants, several kinds of tea, a coffee machine, yogurts, fresh fruit, juices, mineral water, milk, muesli, and a few slices of ham. I would have liked more typical French cheese.
