Appartement Wisteria

The swimming pool was a welcome extra, and the place itself is calm and really pleasant. Inside, everything is tastefully done and there’s what you need for a comfortable stay. The owner made us feel very welcome. It’s also ideally placed if you’re flying from Bordeaux airport.

I was passing through my home region and would happily recommend this place. It’s well equipped, including Wi-Fi, and the hosts are attentive and very friendly. I stayed in December, so I couldn’t use the pool, which was a shame. The setting is peaceful and very pleasant.

You get privacy in a small outbuilding, and the accommodation was clean and pleasant. There’s tea and coffee, and guests can swim in the family pool. The hosts were very welcoming.

I’m extremely disappointed and angry about how this was handled. My stay was for a week, and although I’d booked three months ahead, I was left with nowhere to stay the night before I was due to leave. I needed to postpone my arrival by a day, so I called the owner the day before my original departure date to explain. She had me cancel the whole reservation and said I could call the following evening or the next morning to confirm, that there was no problem and I had that much time to let her know, and that she would book me directly. Then she called the next evening and said the place had been booked, so she couldn’t accommodate me. I wanted to report this because I find this behavior unacceptable from someone providing tourist accommodation. Who would be okay with a situation like that?
