Breakfast the next morning in the big, open barn was lovely, and the owners were just as lovely. After a long, hot day on the motorbike, we followed the directions in the Archies App on our phones and landed in this little slice of heaven. So peaceful and beautiful. Can't recommend it enough.

We were able to relax as soon as we arrived. The owners were warm and welcoming, the pool was refreshingly lovely, and the atmosphere with the other guests was great. On our way to the south of France, we stopped at Jan en Beer's for a few days. We joined them for breakfast on Sunday and had dinner with them twice. Jan even changed the meal day once to suit us. This isn’t the place for anyone in a hurry, but it’s perfect for unwinding, having morning coffee with Jan, and picking up your croissants. Of the three campsites we stayed at that summer, this was our favorite.

Jan has wonderful stories about the campsite, the area around it, and happenings in the village or on site. His son Jochem is very helpful when something needs fixing or a problem needs sorting out. It's a lovely family campsite run by Beer, Jan, and the rest of the family, with nice pitches and adequate sanitary facilities. Breakfast and the meals shared together twice a week are great, and bread ordered in advance arrives promptly. Highly recommended!

The mini-campsite is lovely, tucked all around by greenery and very peaceful. Jan and Beer welcomed us so warmly, and we shared two wonderful meals with them and their adult daughters, who were there too. This place is so unique, I hardly know what to say. We'll definitely be back. In fact, we've already booked for the return trip.
