The owners were incredibly helpful. We booked late, around 21:00, and they arranged dinner for us at a place down the road. The room was modern and beautiful, and the breakfast room had a lovely cozy feel. Breakfast was delicious, and the whole stay felt like home. Such an idyllic, sweet setting too. I can highly recommend it, definitely worth a stay.

We’ve been returning for 10 years with our children and love this place. Xavier and Ania were our third hosts at L'Abri du Vent, and in their first year they were especially accommodating. We had excellent hospitality and a great stay. They have exciting plans to make the experience even better, and we’re looking forward to staying with them again this year.

The courtyard garden is beautiful, and we loved unwinding in the tasteful, modern interior. Ania and Xavier gave us a lovely welcome in this delightful town, in a well-known wine-growing area. Breakfast was five-star, and we left already hoping to return as soon as we can.

The area is brilliant for being outdoors, with swimming, windsurfing and cycling close by, and the local beach is a 15-minute drive. There’s also a little coffee shop and a local bar within walking distance. We had a lovely time at l'abri du vent: our room was spacious and clean, and the location was amazing. The hosts were very friendly and knew lots about the area.
