Breakfast by the pond was generous and satisfying. Natalie was a perfect hostess, and understands a little English. The rooms are very well appointed, and beautiful gardens surround the gorgeous buildings. Once you step through the gate, it feels like entering another world. Definitely recommend.

The garden was large, quiet, and peaceful, and the place worked well as a short stop on our trip through Burgundy. Our ground-floor room, "Blagny 1er Cru", was in the guest house beside the main building. We liked the relaxing sound of water flowing in the backyard. There was a musty smell in the room, though, even with the window open. The towels also seemed too old; replacing them and choosing white instead of brown ones might help.

The couple running this picturesque, charming old mension made us feel like guests in their home, not hotel visitors. We stayed for two days and had to rush around seeing Burgundy. Given the chance, I’d have happily spent a few days there without leaving the hotel, enjoying the marvelous garden.

We could enjoy the whole outdoor area as we pleased, which made us feel more like family guests than hotel guests. It’s a quiet, peaceful place, and we enjoyed a homemade breakfast outside.
