4/10
The hosts treated us nicely, though some other guests told us they found them rude. The gardens are pretty, the view is lovely, and the pool is comfortable. We found the rooms very damp, and the AC's dry setting didn't help. The bed and pillows felt hard, perhaps because they're old. Breakfast was okay, but at that price it didn't feel worth it. The nightly rate seemed far too high for what you get. I'd only suggest staying one night.

The room, pool, and breakfast were all superb, and the hosts were really friendly and helpful. I'll stay here whenever I'm back in the area.

We really enjoyed the restful quiet and the place itself. Dinner was served with a smile, and everything tasted delicious. At la vieille Bastide, the hosts clearly want you to have a good time. They welcome you with warmth, smiles, and genuine care. If you're hesitating, don't be, just go.
