Breakfast stood out, and our host was wonderfully attentive. My brother-in-law and I each had a room for the night while he looked into his family roots nearby. Both rooms were spacious and well equipped, with outdoor seating; mine also had an upstairs veranda, grapevines woven through the railings. The picturesque town was only a short walk away, though sadly every bar, café, restaurant, tavern, and everything else seemed to be closed.

Our hostess was so thoughtful and kind, and her English is excellent. The place was very comfortable, right on the edge of a charming village.

Thanks, Sylvie, for making our stop so comfortable. The room and breakfast were great, and the hosts were the best part.

The owner made me feel very welcome and was incredibly kind. I stayed nearly two weeks and had a lovely time. My room was spotless, and there was plenty to eat at breakfast. Hope to see you again soon, Tiffany ;)

Hotels were all booked for my dates, so I ended up trying a guesthouse even though that isn't usually my thing. It turned out to be a pleasant surprise: a small duplex apartment with loads of space and everything I needed, at a very reasonable price. I spent two days feeling almost at home. I'd recommend it 👍
