The location is fantastic, right by the ski lifts and rental shop. The apartment has the basics you need for the price, though having a car is a must since there aren't shops or restaurants within walking distance for the evening. As an owner of Chalet B1, this was our first stay, even though we bought it off plan more than 10 years ago. The main areas were clean, but the place could use a proper deep clean in the corners instead of just the usual weekly surface clean. The pool is great. Its changing area is less practical: the doors swing open and offer no privacy, and having to remove your shoes before entering the building is awkward.

The apartment was fine, and so was the pool. The stressful part was trying to confirm our late arrival. We emailed and called reception several times at different hours to say we'd be there after 19:00, but got no reply by phone or email. We drove nervously from Barcelona, unsure whether the keys would be available when we arrived, even though reception would be closed. We later found the keys at reception.

We'd happily come back regularly with the family. It's a great residence with parking, set in a picture-perfect spot in every season and ideal for people who really love the mountains. There are lots of charming villages nearby, and Megeve is very close.
