The view of Forcalquier is magnificent, and the house and grounds are absolutely stunning. We were especially touched by how warmly and hospitably Cristiana and Alexandre welcomed us. They helped with all our requests, and Cristiana made delicious breakfasts. The croissants and eggs were perfect, and even the green tea was brewed just right, which many places don’t manage. Villa St Marc is a true Gem in the heart of Forcalquier, and I can’t recommend it enough.

A quiet spot to rest, with breathtaking surroundings and just a short walk into town. We’ve stayed at Villa St Marc several times and keep coming back to the lovely property and welcoming hosts. An incredible place to stay. We’ll be back soon.

The walk to the market and restaurants in town was surprisingly short, given how secluded the property feels. We stayed in the cottage apartment beside the villa, which had everything we needed, including a washing machine, a small kitchen, and air conditioning. That was key, since France was in the middle of a heatwave. We were in Forcalquier for a wedding, and Christiana and Alexandre were warm and welcoming. The property was beautiful and quiet, with a breathtaking view of the landscape around Forcalquier from the pool. The Luberon is such a beautiful part of France. I’d absolutely stay here again on my next visit.

I first found this special, unusual place three years ago on a cycling holiday, and wanted my wife to see it too. She wasn’t disappointed. Cristiana and Alexandre are welcoming, know the area well, and are happy to help with anything. The house is wonderful, and the local produce at breakfast made our stay memorable. I hope we can find an excuse to return. Ian & Kathy
