Chambres d'Hôtes Les Vergers

Really great!

The room was very spacious and clean, and we loved how peaceful the place was. The owner welcomed us so kindly, was helpful, and made for interesting conversation. We'd gladly come back.

We enjoyed the good quality bedding and large bed, along with the simple, harmonious decor. The spacious bathroom had a double sink and large shower, and was spotless. The rooms were beautiful, comfortable, spacious, and very clean, and all the towels provided were good quality. It's a pretty house in a quiet spot, with private parking where you can leave the car safely. The owners were welcoming, and the place has been newly renovated. Breakfast was good, with homemade jams, though Norman apple juice was the one thing missing. A place I'd recommend at an affordable price.

We were ready to leave well before the requested 10:00 am checkout, and had cleaned everything, leaving the room spotless at 9:45. We'd paid €75 for the night, but when we left, the host verbally attacked us for no apparent reason. This unpleasant experience happened during our stay at the Auberge du Verger. We're used to being thorough when we're just passing through, so this felt unacceptable. If you want a pleasant stay, stay away from this place. I wouldn't rent from this host.
