The apartment felt very much like home, with a well-planned interior and comfortable bedding that was great for sensitive backs. Its city location is handy, and there’s a small local farmers’ market 200 meters away on Sunday mornings. We also appreciated the sweet treats provided from breakfast onward. The only drawback was parking: the car park is a little over 200 meters away, which is a bit of a walk. We were delighted with our stay and will keep this address in mind for a future visit to Auxerre. Many thanks!

The apartment is worth the visit, though the three levels and narrow stairs could be tricky for anyone with mobility issues. Tall guests should watch their heads on the beams. The tower bedroom and its ceiling are breathtaking, with beautiful timber framing, and the living room is just as impressive. It’s a unique mix of old stone and modern comfort. Breakfast was the icing on the cake.

The Showroom is one of the real gems in our lovely city of Auxerre. The renovation brings old and new together beautifully, with high-quality materials. We got a warm welcome and a thoughtful breakfast, and enjoyed a romantic getaway close to home 😉!!!
