Provence Au Coeur

The bed was comfortable, the place was clean, and everything was well furnished and equipped. Great location, too. The hosts paid attention to the practical details, sending texts about parking and how to get in, and there was a nice welcome surprise in the fridge. I don’t have to wonder where to stay in Forcalquier anymore 😁 See you soon!!

Right in the old town, this mezzanine studio is practical and well equipped for four people. There’s also secure bike storage. The host was attentive and very welcoming. We’d gladly come back, and the restaurant "O Saveurs de Forcal" on the square is well worth a visit for its food, service, and prices.

The sofa bed has two big dips, and there’s no real mattress topper, just a 2cm piece of fabric that the owner calls one. It felt like sleeping on a piece of wood. All four of us tried it, and it was awful. We’re not fussy, and the kids and we sleep on low-end mattresses at home, but this apartment just doesn’t work for two adults and two children. The owner refused to accept what we were saying, claiming nobody had complained in "600" rentals, and seemed to think we were lying without even trying the sofa bed. We were stuck there at 6 pm with the children and nowhere else to go. His answer was to take our things and find another hotel. He got angry when we raised our voices out of frustration and even said, "I'm not going to buy a sofa!" AVOID AT ALL COSTS. DISGUSTING

A quiet, pleasant apartment in a very good location, with lovely decor and good bedding. The host was attentive, pleasant, and full of useful advice. A nice touch, thank you very much.
