We were satisfied with our stay. The place is simple but very clean, and the welcome was warm. After 30 years of staying in French hotels and gîtes, I found the breakfast well above many other French standards. Don't let the old reviews put you off. Bodo and Sabine from Düsseldorf

It was clean and we got a friendly welcome, but this is an old hotel, not a bed and breakfast. The room had no soundproofing or personal decor, and the price wasn't particularly cheap.

The rooms were clean, but they weren't heated, there was very little hot water, and breakfast wasn't available because they said we had to tell them in advance. We stayed as a family and booked several rooms, yet everyone was charged a different rate. The welcome was terrible and the stay was very bad. I absolutely don't recommend this hotel.

The rooms were okay, but using the bathroom was awkward, particularly for someone a bit older. The bath was too low to stand up straight in, so showering wasn't possible.

Mussels were on a €37 menu, but there was no cheese. Unbelievable. It's a shame because they're good.
