The pitches were grassy and the facilities were fine. A lake nearby has fast food places and a restaurant. Reception was empty when we arrived and again when we left, so another camper let us in. When leaving, we had to slide the money under the door.
The staff were unfriendly, and everything looked old and shabby. I had to pay when I arrived, in advance. There was just one toilet for the whole campsite between 11 pm and 8:30 am. They say it opens at 7:30, but it wasn't open until 8:30. I can't imagine how this place got three stars; maybe that was 30 years ago.
The owners and staff were very welcoming, and the toilets were clean. It's a nice camping spot with a large, Western-inspired saloon.
For cycling with a tent, this was good value. The Wi-Fi worked well near the lobby, though there weren't any toilet seats.
