A L'Ancienne Grange - Chambres d'hôtes

We spent a lovely week here, and the hosts made it easy to feel at home. Élisabeth and Pascal were welcoming and ready to help whenever needed, while still giving us plenty of privacy. The heated pool was a highlight, even on cloudy days. It's spacious, slopes gently, and felt safe for the youngest kids, with loungers and parasols nearby. Our first-floor cottage was just right for four: two roomy bedrooms, a comfortable bathroom with a big shower and double sink, and a bright living area with air conditioning if needed. The kitchen had everything we could want. There was also a washer and dryer, though we didn't use them because the large terrace was handy for drying laundry. We used the cottage as a base for visits to Belfort and its citadel, Mulhouse's famous Automobile Museum, and Montbéliard and its castle. Colmar and Ribeauvillé were about an hour away. In Ribeauvillé, the tourist office had a treasure hunt for €15, and there were plenty of other things to discover nearby too. A lovely setting and attentive hosts made for a very successful stay.

The owners were incredibly kind, and the whole house had beautiful shared spaces. Our room was roomy and so comfortable, and the set menu of local specialties was delicious. They also gave us great tips for restaurants and places to see around the area. After a few days in such a charming, quiet, welcoming place, I was surprised something this lovely was only 15 minutes from home. We had a wonderful time and will probably come back regularly to get away from the city and recharge. I highly recommend it.

We had the whole old barn for our group of 12 cyclists, and Elisabeth and Pascal really went out of their way to make us comfortable. The rooms were quiet and spacious, with views over the countryside, and the swimming pool was superb. Meals included Franche-Comté specialties, including "tort boyau," a local sausage we had at the end of the meal ;). Breakfasts were generous and varied. With the hosts' kindness and easygoing friendliness, everything felt simple and welcoming. Thanks again, Elisabeth and Pascal, for such a wonderful, comfortable stay.

The welcome from Elisabeth and Pascal was one of the warmest we've ever had, and the place itself is something special. The gîte is even better than the photos suggest: spacious, spotless, and fitted with high-quality appliances. The terrace looks out over a breathtaking view, and the pool area is a pleasure. We found an exceptional place and, especially, exceptional people. Don't hesitate!
