The WildPigs scared us. Toilets are too small for adults of a regular height, around 1.80 m. There’s no light by the laundry at night, and the rule against swim shorts or bermuda-style swimwear, requiring old-fashioned swimwear, is ridiculous.

We’ve been coming back to Camping La Pierre Verte for years and always leave happy. This time we tried the Eden after usually staying in a Lodge overlooking the lagoon, and we loved it. The Lodge also had a new dedicated guest ambassador this year. Ours was Leo, who was lovely and ready to help whenever we needed something. The lagoon is still what makes the place special, and the facilities and activities have always made for a great holiday. We had another lovely stay at Camping La Pierre Verte.

June was quiet and not very busy, and the staff were welcoming and spoke good English. We first planned on two nights, then added another without any trouble. Our campervan pitch was level and roomy, with pine trees giving shade on hot days, and we could easily switch from the pitch we’d been assigned to the one we wanted. The bathrooms we used were clean and newly renovated, though we only tried one block. The showers had plenty of space and hooks for towels, clothes and other things. We liked the pool and entertainment area, but didn’t eat at the restaurants. Fréjus is nearby, the beach takes about 10-15 minutes by car, and groceries are around five minutes away. It’s also a good base for cycling trips of different lengths and difficulty. We paid 36€ a night. I’d suggest booking in person if possible, since the online fees seemed unreasonably high. We were there in June, though, so in peak season you’ll probably need to book ahead. I’d definitely recommend the campsite. Thanks for having us!

We spent a week in a duo ecotent and couldn’t fault the site. The lagoon and swimming pool were excellent, and the toilet and shower facilities were very clean. There’s plenty to do on site if you don’t feel like heading out, though the town centre is a few miles away. If you want an easy way to see the town, don’t miss the tourist train at Fréjus.
