The owners were rude and seemed interested only in making quick money, with no care for clients. I expected more from a family-run business, but the experience was traumatic. Be careful of a possible scam. They use ooking dot com to find guests, then cancel the credit card payment the night before arrival, leaving no time to sort anything out. When you get there, they say the room has already gone to someone else and offer a bigger, more expensive one if you're desperate. We decided to find somewhere else. When we argued about it, they suddenly stopped speaking English. I'm never going near this place again.

The room itself was clean, up to standard, and good value for the price. The corridors and other areas were battered, though. Reception felt like a play and care space for lots of little children. Breakfast was a letdown. Before paying, my girlfriend specifically checked whether there'd be freshly cooked warm eggs and brown bread, and was assured there would be. That morning we got only a mouthful of brown bread and cold hard-boiled eggs. When we politely asked for what we'd been promised, the proprietor pointed to one croissant and one pain chocolate as what our €9 each covered. She eventually half-cooked three eggs, leaving them runny, and refused to give us any more. She stayed in a foul mood until we left. There was no warmth from her from the moment we walked in. I'd recommend the hotel for a cheap room, but beware of breakfast.

The outside didn't look very comfortable, but inside we got a fairly spacious room with plenty of space for our things. The bathroom was new, clean, and really nice, and there was a little balcony. For the price, we felt lucky to find it. The woman at reception was very friendly and helped with everything we asked.

It's an easy walk to the port and beach, and the location is good. Parking may be tricky, so check ahead and confirm it. The room had full air conditioning, a safe, fridge, TV, shower, sink, and full-length mirror. Some rooms also have a jacuzzi, which is a nice extra if you don't already have one at home.
