La Haute Grange

We were after a peaceful place to unwind, away from the busy towns but still close by, and La Haute Grange was just right. The area has plenty to see and do. Our two-bedroom part of the house was spacious and beautifully presented. Margaret and Phillippe shared great places to eat and even made bookings for us. They also left tea, coffee and a few starter supplies, plus bread and croissants for our first morning. We had a lovely few days.

Philippe and Margaret are what made La Haute Grange so special. They were lovely, incredibly helpful hosts, and we felt as though we'd been welcomed into their home. Their local knowledge helped us make the most of our stay, from walking routes and traditional food to shopping and finding good wine at good prices. The property was clean, cosy, beautiful and so well equipped. It went beyond what we've found in other self-catering places for comfort, equipment and amenities. From booking until we left, everything was second to none. It was an honour to meet them, and we can't wait to return. First-time visitors have a real treat ahead.

Maggy & Philippe were thoughtful hosts and always had ideas for things to do. The gites are beautifully decorated and work well for either a holiday or a short break. They're in a quiet rural spot with lovely views, but still near interesting places to visit and restaurants to try.

The rooms were beautifully decorated and very clean, and breakfast was lovely. Philippe and Margaret are warm, wonderful hosts who do everything they can to make you feel at home. The accommodation is cosy and clean, in a lovely area. I'd happily recommend it and would love to come back.
