Saint Alban Hotel & Spa

We had a lovely mountain view, and there’s a secure room in the cellar for bicycles that the staff keep a close eye on. The rooms were clean, the interior nicely decorated, and the staff very friendly. Good service, breakfast and afternoon tea with freshly made cakes, too. There are coffee and tea facilities in the room and at reception, along with complimentary coffee, tea and water in the lobby.

The cold pool was a letdown, and there wasn’t a jacuzzi. No guests seemed willing to use the pool. Apart from that, I highly recommend this hotel. It has a great atmosphere, the staff are extremely helpful and polite, the breakfast was suitable, and the rooms and decor are spot on.

The room was clean and had a decent balcony, but it was smaller than I expected and not finished as nicely as the photos suggest. The soundproofing could be better. The bed was small and very uncomfortable for me, with too little support. There’s no air conditioning, and the room reached 25 degrees. We had to leave the balcony door open for cool air, but the hotel is near the town’s main road and passing cars and people often woke us up. In summer, a good night’s sleep isn’t guaranteed. The hotel is nicely decorated and well located in the town centre. The staff were very friendly and helpful, and there was free coffee, tea and water in the lobby. They even have a few free parking spots in front of the hotel. A good hotel in some ways, but the rooms weren’t what I’d expected.

The room design and spa were my favorite parts, and we had a mountain view from our room. The staff were so welcoming. Thanks for the hospitality!
