The owner made us feel welcome right away and gave us useful advice. Breakfast was generous and beautifully laid out, and the bedding was really comfortable. Our room was nicely decorated and spacious enough for two, with the bathroom and toilet in separate areas, each entered from the room. Château de Lamberval is a lovely working farm in calm countryside. The doors did creak a little at night and disturbed us slightly, but we still highly recommend the place.
A quiet countryside spot for anyone wanting to unwind away from city noise. The owners were attentive and welcoming, and breakfast was decent, with fresh homemade food. There wasn't a TV in the room, though there was one in the private lounge, which felt a bit small to us. We really appreciated how peaceful the place was ☺️👍😎
We booked one night with a Wonderbox voucher. In the middle of December, the room was very clean and nicely warm. The owner was very friendly, and breakfast came with plenty of fresh bread and croissants. Such a peaceful location.
The calm setting made it easy to unwind, and the owner was so kind, attentive and available. She served a generous, high-quality breakfast with care. I only held back a star because I'd expected to eat in a large, beautiful reception room, as you might imagine at a château. Even so, the house and its owner left us with no regrets about our visit. Elise told us this lovely family château dates from the 19th century and stands where a fortified castle once was. It sits in a pleasant park surrounded by nature, and we found the room quiet and comfortable. The welcome was very friendly. Breakfast was adequate, and we had a very pleasant stay.
