The room was fine and breakfast was okay, but neither felt special. When we asked for another pillow, we were told there weren't any, although the place wasn't full. The photos gave the impression we'd be near the chateau, and there was also a suggestion of a special river view or access. In fact, neither was the case. It was an okay place to stay in the Bordeaux region, but I'd definitely lower your expectations.

The beds were terrible, and breakfast was poor. The rooms were dusty, with cobwebs, and the place felt like a ghost house. Everything is old and badly painted over, and the facilities are in poor condition.

We were surrounded by vineyards in a peaceful setting, and the service was friendly and excellent. The facilities were great, the pool was lovely, and breakfast was delicious. We had a wonderful stay.

The pool isn't heated, unfortunately, but the garden was lovely and we had dinner there one evening. Breakfast was a real pleasure, with high-quality continental fare. Sophie was attentive and did everything she could to make our stay enjoyable. Don't miss the wine tasting. The wine was excellent, and the tour was unique, held in a very modern winery that's expanding quickly. We had a wonderful time and highly recommend it.
