Ha Tel Ra Sidence Lido Marana

The hotel is in a mall, so there’s plenty of free parking, and a few restaurants are within walking distance. We were treated really well from the minute we arrived, and the room was just what we wanted, clean and with everything we needed. Breakfast had a good range, though I wouldn’t want it every day. The rooftop pool is nice, with a little bar that could maybe be open more often.

The train nearby is the only real drawback. If you sleep lightly it could be a problem, though it isn't very frequent and passes only in the morning, around 7.15, so nights are quiet. The place is comfortable, very clean, and simply decorated. The staff were impeccable, kind, and professional. Rooms are spacious and clean, with good amenities, and the bathroom is great, with a big shower and everything new. I'd really recommend the “petit dejenneu express” option for a quick, generous breakfast that saves money.

Getting to and from the airport is the one issue. You have to drive yourself or take a taxi. Maybe the hotel could keep a list so guests heading to the airport can find each other and split a taxi, which would help those of us traveling on a budget. I loved this hotel. The rooms are really nice and clean, and the staff are super friendly. There are nice restaurants nearby too. I strongly recommend it!

The rooftop pool has a great view of the surrounding industrial buildings. The hotel looks nice in the web photos, but in person it's a travellers hotel between an industrial estate and a commercial centre. It's at a roundabout beside the main road south from Bastia, so it's noisy.
