Bastia is close by, and this was a fantastic place to stay.

The room felt like a cave, and it was freezing. There was a portable heater on wheels, but it smelled so bad I couldn't leave it running. The only way outside was through a French door with a blackout blind. It was so dark that people outside could see me lying on the bed, which faced the door. A disgrace. The parking wasn't private as advertised. It was a public lot, with a barely usable space about 100 meters from the room, plus a long flight of stairs. Great with suitcases. The Wi-Fi didn't work, and the owner could barely remember the code. Noise from upstairs, possibly the owners, carried through: you could hear them walking and even going to the bathroom. I had to wait until 9:30 PM for a bill. Absolutely not recommended.
