The setting is peaceful and magical, and the decor is magnificent. Our room was superb, with a very comfortable bed. Breakfast, though, felt far too basic for the price and expected amenities: hardly any local fruit, just chilled Golden Delicious apples like at a motorway service station. There was no espresso machine, towels, or water.

Lourmarin is a charming village with lots of cultural activities, and the surrounding area is lovely. We stayed at this beautiful estate for our 20th wedding anniversary and had a wonderful time enjoying the pool and jacuzzi in complete peace. We highly recommend it to anyone who loves nature and fine wine.

We found a quiet little corner of Provence, with spacious, superbly renovated rooms that are well equipped. The staff were very pleasant too. I’d highly recommend this place for a memorable weekend or holiday.
