Breakfast was generous and really good, and Céline even had madeleines for us. We got there around 9:30 pm and she showed us around and arranged breakfast for the morning. The room had everything we needed, including storage, linens, towels, a TV, Wi-Fi, and its own bathroom with a shower and toilet. Guests can also use a well-equipped kitchen in the shared area, where there are local brochures. We only stayed one night. It was very quiet, and I imagine it’s even nicer in the warmer months. Breakfast was such a nice, friendly start to the day, with a lovely view across the fields. Céline and David were so welcoming, and there are lots of brochures if you want to explore the area, plus a little spot for making tea. The rooms were perfect, and the beds deserve a special mention because they were incredibly comfortable. I’m especially sensitive to that. The shower was spotless. Fantastic stay!

The included breakfast felt like a little holiday in itself, especially the milk straight from the farm. It tasted like real cow’s milk and took me right back to childhood. I had a lovely time here. My only regret is that I didn’t plan to stay longer and enjoy the place more, since it’s surrounded by so much nature.

We only had two days, and I wish we could’ve stayed longer. It’s a charming, peaceful place, and the welcome and breakfast were both wonderful. There’s plenty to see nearby: Rennes is 40 minutes away, with an impressive city center; Fougères is 30 minutes away, and the walk around the castle is lovely; Mont Saint-Michel is also just 30 minutes away. Céline and David made us feel very welcome, and we had what we needed for our short, one-night stay. There wasn’t a set of towels in the bathroom, but that didn’t bother us since it was 4 a.m. 😁 The farmhouse is beautiful, in a lovely spot in the countryside, and it’s very handy for Domaine de la Haye d'Irée, where we were attending a wedding. I highly recommend it.
