The town was so quiet and charming, like a postcard, and we had a fantastic stay. The cottage has just been renovated, with a huge kitchen and original wooden beams across the ceiling. Really lovely countryside, and very child friendly.
I haven't visited myself, but people speak so highly of this lovely place that I'm happy to take their word for it. The village has a great view on clear days, stretching toward the Ognon Valley, the Saône Valley, and the Côte d'Or. Across from the place is the church dedicated to the Assumption of the Virgin Mary. The vineyards are coming back to life, so I'd recommend trying a few tastings.
We were welcomed so warmly by the host, who gave us quince jelly, jam, and a bottle of Crémant du Jura. Such a thoughtful gesture, thank you! We spent a lovely week in Offlanges in a clean, spacious cottage with everything well equipped. It's nicely furnished and decorated, and would work really well for a big family or a holiday with friends.
The cottage was roomy and so nicely decorated. We got a really warm welcome too. We'll be back!
