The breakfast was the standout, incredibly fresh, generous, and delicious. The bed was comfortable, the decor suited the place, and parking nearby was easy. It’s an old, curious building set on several levels up a hillside of steps, just above the Tarn. We got clear instructions by email and SMS but never met anyone to thank. The whole place has a lovely sense of the cocagne and gabarres era, and it felt as if invisible spirits from the Tarn were looking after us in the peaceful setting below.

Cyril was such a lovely, passionate host and spent time sharing tips about the region that really added to our stay. We only had two nights and wished we’d booked longer. The restored house is beautiful and full of care, right in the centre but still quiet. Breakfast was delicious and had loads of choice, which is rare in France. The mattress was the most comfortable of our whole trip and made up for the beds elsewhere. If you’re passing through Gaillac, this charming BnB is hard to beat. Stay longer if you can.

The room had a lovely view of the Tarn, which was the finishing touch. It was magnificent, cozy, and very well equipped, and the welcome was flexible. The location in Gaillac is perfect, and breakfast was lively and generous. Thanks so much!
