I slept like a baby during my one-night stay, and the hotel was perfect for the price. The owners really went out of their way to make me a good breakfast. There are plenty of restaurants in town as well. You can’t park a motorbike in front of the hotel, but there’s motorcycle parking beside the bank just down the street.

The staff were friendly, welcoming and very helpful with local tips. The room got very hot during the high outdoor temperatures, but they provided a fan, which helped. It’s good value and easy to reach from the train station.

The room was clean and had everything we needed, and the staff were really friendly, attentive and helpful. The location is very central, about 5 minutes from the centre and 10 minutes from the bars. We’d visit again! Thank you, le Compte rouge :))

A lovely, simple hotel with very good service and a great breakfast. It’s close to the town, train station and bus station, and was ideal for my stop on the way from Paris to Les Gets. I’d happily stay here again while passing through or exploring Thonon.
