The calm, unhurried way of life here is something Danielle and Didier generously let guests share. Their service is thoughtful without being intrusive, and they offered ideas for exploring this lovely area. We returned the favor by introducing them to rosé cider, so maybe bring a bottle along!

Birds and cicadas are about all you hear in this lovely green spot. Danielle and Didier made us feel so welcome and were wonderfully attentive. A great choice if you're looking for a bit of peace and quiet. Many thanks to them, we'd happily recommend it.

We loved the pool, and there are lovely walks you can set off on right from the cottage. It's a charming, peaceful place, with the river below adding a really soothing sound. The owners were friendly and welcoming, and the lady of the house knows her wine. Her advice was excellent. I'd absolutely recommend staying here.

We've stayed here three times already and are looking forward to visits four and five! Danielle and Didier gave us a fantastic welcome. The cottage is quiet, has everything you need, including Wi-Fi, and sits in a great spot between the Hérault and Gard departments, handy for trips from the coast to the Cévennes mountains. And the pool is a must in hot weather. Great!

The path from the house follows the river, then passes vineyards and little woods. It felt magical, as did the garden at La Bleuette, peaceful and full of birdsong. I stayed there from April 10th to 23rd, 2021, and it was a lovely break from the busy pace of life. Didier and his wife, who's an oenologist, were genuinely friendly and gave me tips for exploring the area with my dog, along with advice about excellent local wines. They live next door, but are so discreet you hardly feel you're on their property. La Bleuette is comfortable and well equipped, and the mattress was excellent. What a lovely place. I'll be back!
