On our way back to the UK, we spent the night in La Fleche and ate at Relais Henri lV. The food was very good, the tables were well spaced, and the hostess was friendly and helpful. We had a lovely bottle of wine and a very pleasant evening.

Laurent and Marie made us feel very welcome, and we had a great meal for the price. The ile flouttante was the standout. The roadside setting might make you hesitate, but don't let it put you off. It’s well worth a visit. Merci beaucoupe!

I'd avoid this place. The desserts were defrosted and reheated in a microwave, and hardly anything seemed homemade. There was also a dirty dog wandering around the tables. Bref, une grosse daube direct de chez Métro.
