We’ve been coming regularly, but things have changed since the very young manager arrived. We find him too young for the role. Staff service is lacking, and the manager can’t advise on wine because he doesn’t know any. The restaurant is cold too. For a hotel this size, it’s really unfortunate that diners have to keep their jackets on.

I really enjoyed eating here, and came back twice. The food is nice and unpretentious, and the waitress was cheerful. Early in the morning, you can see rabbits running through the grass, and I liked the interior decor too.

I’ve tried to get in touch several times, but the phone lines are always “busy.” When I went there, the building was empty and there was no explanation. Maybe it was just a bad day, but have they gone bankrupt?
