Hôtel Restaurant Le Filosorma

That rocky beach is right across the street, down some steps, and the water is crystal clear. We didn’t stay at the hotel, but it seems like a great place. We came for lunch and found a varied menu with lots of tempting choices. The pizza, cooked in a wood-fired oven on the terrace, caught my eye, and the cheeseburger pizza was absolutely on point. Service was good too. Our waiter was friendly and helpful.

The food is really, really good, and the staff are kind. Most of them speak English. The rooms are small, but the balcony is nice, and the hotel is close to the sea. The internet, though, is very bad.

The location opposite the beach gives you a sea view, which was the one good thing for us. The room was basic, the shower leaked, and the toilet wouldn’t flush properly. The half-board meals weren’t good, and we couldn’t choose dinner from the menu. We don’t eat meat, but were served three slices of goat’s cheese with lumpy mashed potatoes as a main course. Awful.

This is a small restaurant near the beach, with a bar and tables both inside and out. The staff speak English, and they prepare the pizzas outside. They have a lunch menu every day, and the food is good. Prices are about what you’d expect in Corsica, and you can order anything to take away.
