The summer kitchen came in handy when we prepared food for our hikes, and the location made it easy to explore the region and go shopping. We spent six nights in the "Marie" room at La Bastide des Lavandières, an ideal place for a couple. Everything was clean, comfortable, charming, and thoughtfully arranged. Breakfast was just right, with a balanced selection that changed each day. The hosts were attentive and quick to adapt to our needs, while remaining discreet. They made us feel truly welcome. We highly recommend it.

We came back to the Bastide de Lavandières for a second visit and had another wonderfully relaxing stay. The peaceful garden and accommodation are lovely places to unwind, with nature and nearby villages to enjoy. The rooms are furnished with care, and breakfast changes every morning. Isabelle and José are among the warmest hosts and people we've met. Their kind manner makes each stay feel special.

Our room, Aimée, was elegant, tastefully decorated, very clean, and had bedding that felt magical. Breakfast was fresh, varied, generous, and delicious. We also made good use of the well-equipped summer kitchen to recharge after busy days. Isabelle and José know and love the region, and gave us excellent suggestions for places to visit. They were incredibly attentive. The bastide is magnificent and ideally placed, with all the hilltop villages within about 20 minutes or 20 kilometers. We highly recommend La Bastide des Lavandières de Gargas.

We enjoyed the outdoor areas, especially the pool and summer kitchen, and breakfast came with fresh local or homemade products. Isabelle and José gave us helpful tips for exploring the villages and finding restaurants. We stayed two nights, were warmly welcomed, and found the room clean and well appointed. We recommend La Bastide and will come back!
