We were very well cared for during our two nights. Our comfortable accommodation was attached to the house but separate from the rest of it. Sylvie made us a delicious evening meal when we arrived and paid close attention to what her guests needed. We were also delighted to find proper English teabags and milk with the self-service tea and coffee.

Sylvie was so kind and generous, and her cooking was excellent. She made us feel comfortable without ever being overbearing, from the gracious welcome to the warm goodbye. The pool was wonderfully refreshing on very hot days, and our room stayed comfortable even in late June despite having no air conditioning. The accommodations were lovely. It felt like a perfect break from our vacation, in a quieter part of France that was still close enough to civilization. We managed without a car, walking to Genay and the larger town of Neuville-sur-Saône, but I’d recommend renting one if you’re travelling. We spent about €100 on a taxi from the airport.

Dinner and breakfast were delicious, and the "Le Cabanon" room felt peaceful and comfortable, with lovely decor that made us feel at home. We had a dream stay, thanks in large part to the warm welcome and kindness. The property has a beautiful view and a magnificent pool. We’d be very happy to return.

The hosts were friendly and welcoming, and always happy to share useful tips for seeing the region. We slept really well in the spacious room, thanks to the extremely comfortable bed. "L'Angélus" has a lovely, peaceful setting and a magnificent feel to the place. We’d highly recommend it for a relaxing getaway.

A marvelous spot for a quiet break and a chance to recharge. The pool was a treat, and breakfast was wonderful. We had a perfect stay and will be back ❤️
